Serve the public and members; encourage mutual co-operation and brotherhood; manage the Society for public benefit; develop branches and bring people of different communities together; and assist other persons and organisations with charitable purposes.
Hold free treatment, eye, blood donation, medical and child immunisation camps, seminars and conferences; provide free medical help to poor and needy people and children affected by TB, cancer and HIV; support people with disabilities socially, educationally, medically and financially; and undertake medical, educational and social activities for public benefit.
Establish and run schools, colleges and training institutions, including technical and teacher-training colleges; give scholarships, stipends, prizes, allowances and other student assistance; run painting, English-speaking, Montessori teacher-training and tailoring classes; and provide uniforms, books and notebooks to poor and needy students.
Provide food, medicine and other assistance after natural calamities; establish schools and homes supporting children with disabilities and children in need of care; celebrate national days and other festivals for public benefit; and support facilities including old-age homes, children’s homes, boarding houses, community halls, water facilities, parks and roads.
Work towards healthy, clean cities and urban environments, and support the families of soldiers who have lost their lives protecting the country, according to their needs.
